The first Clinton Whitehouse was successful because the Clintons, regardless of Bill's occasional piccadillos, functioned as a partnership. Hillary always had input, when Bill was governor of Arkansas and when he was President. It is easily arguable that she has more experience with administrative governing (what the President does) than any other potential candidate from either party.

The record of the Clinton Whitehouse was one of economic growth (well over 20,000,000 new jobs and a slight increase in average income and in the total number of people in the middle class), reduced national debt, and increased liberty. So the record of that experience is one that lends itself to the idea that she (and Bill again, as First Man) will govern well.

Hillary is of course, nowhere near as liberal as Jonathan and I are -- she is realistically a moderate, despite the specious mouthings of the Conservative talking heads, who fear her just because she is a strong woman I suspect -- and in the primary we will certainly support Barack Obama -- who comes far closer to mirroring our values. It is to be presumed that Hillary will win the primary however, and at that time we will commit all the time and resources at our disposal to getting her elected and returning to a time when prosperity is for the average American, not just the elite and liberty and justice are for all

i am personally tired of white rich men being elected as presidents. i don't want any more bushes or ***** to rule this country. Hillary comes from a middle class family and she cares about this country and she is smart and driven. she is compassionate, and that goes a long way in my opinion. how compassionate do you think bush is? do you think he really cares about our sons and daughters dying in Iraq? do you think he really cares about health care or the environment? i would say NO. i feel most candidates don't care about the most important issues, i think they are selfish. do your research and you will find that Hillary has done a lot of good for people. do not be sexist... people grow up and get with the times.

The same reason many evangelicals are in favor of Mitt Romney. It just is what it is. Each of them speak to a segment of the population that agrees with their views.

I'm not. I think she is a fraud. I thought it was rediculous to see her voted in as a "New Yorker". I cannot believe that the voters did not see through all of the BS. She has been setting herself up for a run at the White House since her husband left office.

I like her stand on education, medical reform, gay marriage and the war in Iraq to name a few. Plus if you actually listen to her you will notice that she says exactly how she feels and then doesn't waver from that decision. Many politicians will say one thing to one group and then a different thing to a different group - my Dad calls that talking out of both sides of your mouth. I intend to vote for her and think she will make an excellent President!

Because she was married to Bill who did a good job as president, and she knows how the system works, she's met tons of foreign leaders, and she would make a good candidate for the job.

Well, she has a very long history in politics, and quite a lot of experience. From her track record, she would be very well suited for the presidency, I believe.

Because she is very smart and has important leadership qualities.
Qualities that people who voted for Bush weren't looking for in a President.
