yep. what you do is: keep the ipod connected and restart your computer, youl may have to shut it down and restart. then the ipod will sync again and it should go away.

If this does not work, then unhook your ipod and reset it. To reset it you have to slide the hold switch back and forth twice, then lay your ipod on a flat surface and press the menu and the select (the button in the middle) at the same time and hold for about 6 to 8 seconds, you should then see the apple icon and you are back in business. Don't worry resetting does not wipe the ipod.

ipod are crazy!! mines got a mind of its own!! flick the hold switch on and off, then hold the menu and centre buttons down for 6 seconds. this is the proper way to reset your ipod without losing any music. (it's in the instructions somewhere!!) hope that helps!!

It should only say this if its connected to your computer. If you eject you iPod by dragging the iPod icon from your desktop to the rubbish bin it will eject you iPod and should stop telling you not to disconnect. DONT JUST UNPLUG IT FROM YOUR MACHINE. It does this because your computer is using the information on your iPod.
