Your not depressed you are an intervert is all i would not be around you at all at no time!
you are of negative space get out of this space and refreshen your aura!
It's up to you how you respond to good and how you react if your dead i say wake up live laugh love pray and rejoice or you shall stay in the muck you find your self in!
hay stop this closed down stuff and wake up i dont know how they would be around you! not me i would tell you what i felt and leave you be to yourself!
no harm intended i needed to say what others needed to and didnt! they failed you not me
WAKE UP RIGHT NOW!
you dont want to be remembered this way i am sure! express yourself be a part of or leave them be!

How about I tell you I used to be depressed and now I am not? How about if it took many years----back in The Stone Age? If you're between 12 and 21 it's natural and you'll come out of it in time to live your life the way you want to. Young people are so full of hormonal changes it makes it hard on a lot of them. You don't always know for sure who is happy and who is faking it!!

If you are older you can see a General MD but be sure to ask the nurse or receptionist if he/she treats depression before you spend your money on someone just to hear the word no. You don't need any more no's right now. Get through the day and survive. Stay with us. We need you or we wouldn't be here, would we?

New drugs are out all the time that fight depression. Also, if you don't like pills there are new therapies every day. You sound as normal to me as sunshine or rain. Come to Answers when you can if you're depressed or even a little sad. There are people here who will cheer you up every time!! Laughter is the best medicine!! And people who can answer your questions. Keep reading through the questions about depression up there under

You need to survive Kiddo. For me, for starters. I need you. And you don't even know me!!

Life can change. Your life can change. MY life can change......and DOES!! Much Love!! Wish I could tell you myself but I'm not as smart as I THINK I am. @8-)

It could be organic; if your brain doesn't make enough of the right chemicals it must affect your behaviour and emotional states, so the place to start is with your doctor, who will diagnose whether you are suffering from clinical depression. In the meantime, have a look at : www.myspace.com and type "depression;" followed by your country's 2 letter code ( unless in the USA ), for example, if I was in New Zealand I'd type "depression;nz" in the bar near the top of the webpage. Also, while you are there, view the blog of Shan Eris on "tackling depression". Then try : www.depression.com/ and www.relax7.com/7.php

One thing I like is that you finish your question by telling us: again.
So, once you were happy.
Now, by your other questions, I think you are an adolescent.
And it could be that the hormones trying to find their balance are playing the trick.
Maybe you could talk about it with your doctor.
About your friends:
Could it be that you don't think their jokes are funny...?
Are you sure that they are as happy as they seem?

Look, go first to the GP and then come and ask again if it hasn't work, I might have another answer...

If you are suffering from clinical depression, you really need professional help to get to the root of the problem. No one on this forum can tell you how to be happy. Depression goes way beyond happiness and can affect every aspect of your life.

There is an assessment on depressionhurts.com:

http://www.depressionhurts.com/selfassess/selfassess.jsp?reqNavId=2

This should help you decide if it is depression. There are a lot of other tools on the web site, including patient stories. There are guidelines for taking the steps necessary to treat depression.

I wish you the best of luck!

Why are you sad? You have friends, if you have friends you are never alone. Are you fat? Lose weight. Bad skin? Get Proactiv(or something) Are you ugly? No, you are unique. If you need love, find a mate. We all go through dark days- it's called life. All of our days are numbered, meaning we all will die. Don't waste your time being sad-unless being sad make you happy. You are not depressed you are bored. Do something different, something out of character. Act like a complete nut, be someone else. LIVE YOUR LIFE!!!

It could be something physical. Get a good medical checkup and try exercising a bit each day since that helps as well. There are health food things that would help but I don't recall any of them at the moment. go to a good health food store and tell them you need something natural for depression and they can help. Good luck and I hope you get past this. couselling may help because it may also be that you need to build up your self esteem and perhaps counselling could help with that also.

there is a fairly defined protocol that docs use to screen for depression, suggest you go that route to see if you clinically depressed and might need counseling and/or meds. Beware of internet sites and magazine questionnaires, they may or may not be better than nothing. If you not clinically depressed, start looking thru the gazillion self-help books on this subject.

You may write all your detailed feelings on a diary and then read it again and try to find out the reasons for your depression.
