I personally HATE cockroaches. I hate them, they make me shiver with their antenna's, scribbly legs and fast walk. I rather shoot myself in the knees that handlin a cockroach, especially the big ones. They are scary, filthy and sneaky as they always apear when it dark. Just writing about them makes my stumaxtwsit.

We are afraid of cockroaches because they have more legs than us, they are red (which we r afraid of), they have are tiny and we dont know them completely. But think about how human should look like to cockroaches. They should be freaking scared of us. After all, we look like giants to them. They kill cockroaches not the other way round. We are so "intelligent" that we can kill animal. Now, who do you think is the scariest animal on planet? Its not cockroaches, its not aligators, its us. Humans. :-)

Any animal can be scary even a mouse, just picture urself all alone some where pitchblack, the slightest noise will scare you or make you uneasy, an owl, the cry of a foxs, shivers down your spine

Homo sapiens. We kill for pleasure and most of the time make no pretenses about it. What else kills something, doesn't eat it and keeps pieces of it around it's lair? Nothing. What other species destroys habitat in an effort to make that habitat more suitable for itself, and less so for other species (except select few)? None that I can think of. Yep, people are a violent and unpredictable species if any are.

The giant Squid. And octopus. The great big ones. Yack!!!!
I know octopi aren't suppossed to be that aggressive to man but giant squid are the meanest, nastiest most bad tempered animals which can eat pretty much anything for breakfast! I'm too scared to mention how grotesque they look...

In all actuality it would definately be Man...We as a whole , have the most unpredictable of personalities , and by far , We have the most ways to kill,torture,maim,emotionally and physically damage every other living creature on the planet....how much scarier can you get?

Hippopotami. You are not going to put your foot on one of those to get rid of it. They can move quickly as well and faster than you can run. Give me a cockroach any day rather than a hippo.

got to be giant centipedes with their poisonous bite and lots of legs. all wriggling and moving up your bed and under your duvet. you feel the faintest touch as it brushes your bare skin moving upwards towards a nice moist area where it decides to curl up and sleep. if you move it may bite, paralysing you with its venom leaving you at its mercy. sleep tight tonight.

spiders scare me as do they most people especially the ones that run really fast they're so horrible!
