It really bugs me sometimes, especially when you are asking a serious question in a different catagory...

Yes, definitely. I think it's really easy for some people and comes naturally for most. I don't like it either but sometimes you just gotta figure somebody's having a bad day and taking it out on everyone.

Sorry, my dad's from England, I get my sarcasm from him. My mom hates it too. Most sarcasm is meant to sound funny, not to hurt anyones feelings. I enjoy being sarcastic here, because this is a cool bunch of people, other categories, I am more serious. A time and place for everything right?

I personally do love being sarcastic. For me it helps me show other people's stupidity in a comment or action when I don't want to come out and say "hey dumb @ss, what you just said was stupid." For other people it may be a superiority complex. Others need to be sarcastic and show that the people they are talking to are inferior. It does suck when it happens to you, ESPECIALLY when you're being serious, but its all relative.

It seems people are being sarcastic when being asked serious questions because their minds are partially wondering off to find a humourous way to answer a question.

Some of us do tend to become sarcastic sometimes, but it is very inappropriate if someone is asking an intelligent question and wants an intelligent answer.

Yeah, sorry, I for one love being sarcastic. It's a second nature. More in real life than on here, though. See, this answer has no sarcasm whatsoever.

Its not you People are looking for serious answer but others dont care. But there are a lot of individuals who ask silly question so they get silly answers

yeah, when the question is serious I dont really have that problem, and when its not, I dont mind because i do it sometimes too.
