Most comonly passing out (the medical term is SYNCOPE - pronounced: sync-o-pee) is not serious However there are a few things that should be checked out. Anemia, electrlyte abnormalities, and endocrine type problems -- thyroid, etc.

Most likely this is being caused by what is known as a "vaso-vagal" response where pressure and discomfort in the abdomen can cause a slowing of the heart and a decreased blood pressure.

Although it is in all likelyhood nothing serious, you ought to have it checked out.

It sounds like poor circulation or low blood sugar. Ask your doctor to perform tests. Do you have a problem with migraines, also? This could be a serious problem. I wouldn't advise getting pregnant until you had it checked out. Try eating more carbs.

No that is not ok. You need to see your doctor so he can check all of this out. It is NEVER ok to pass out. Yes sometimes we do for one reason or another but that does not mean it is ok it means something is wrong and something has to be changed.
