In Iraq, the people are defending themselves against the occupier, the US military. They have watched for years as this military force has come in, removed their government by force, killed their families, neighbors and friends.
Then we wonder why they are brandishing weapons on some rooftop. Go figure. That is where I would be too in the same situation. What do you expect them to do? Stand with their hands raised in the air in the middle of the street while some 19 year old from Arkansas takes aim and "kills another Arab terrorist" and high fives his buddy? I don't think so. A better question might be...Why is the US in Iraq killing people that did nothing to threaten our well being or country. Makes no sense at all, right?

well for the war in Iraq, it is my feelings and understanding that if we were not there fight for what happen 9/11 and other things than they would be here fighting. There are people in Iraq that believe that if they kill themselves they will go to heaven and hundreds of virgins will be waiting for them! As for other types of killings, I wish I knew why. Why are people killing people for no reason at all??? I think God is letting us know that's things need to change!

Because they are brainwashed by the people they hang around with into believing they can be forgiven for their sins and get a pass straight into paradise. Some do it to get money for their families, and some do it out of sheer hatred.

It is hard to imagine, isn't it?

Mohammed Atta was a westernized college student before he started hanging around with radicals.

my feeling is that those people who committed suicide for terrorism are brainwashed so to speak they probably had no family or anyone to really care about them and then they meet these really mentally disturbed people who promise them that everything is going to be all right in the end as long as they do as they are told. that"they will go to heaven for their sacrifice" but they were probally doing that since they were children have you not seen in the news or papers the pics of children learning to fight with AK-47's? (but this is just my opinion)

The soldiers probably don't want to but the army trains them and expects them to defend themselves.

The iraqis probably don't either, but the mullas or preists or whatever are telling them all non-muslims are evil.

That's the problem.
humans get the idea that they and only they should run the world and that leads to conflict.
