the other day and i didnt see anything there for the 2nd line. but when i took one yesterday i saw the first line and for the second line there was no actual line but the area where it would be there was a faded area. (you could see that that was where the line would be!) i didnt see that the other day. I have scheduled a test with my doctor to find out for sure. but has this ever happened to anyone before...faint area where the line would be compared to one with nothing for the second line!!!

The test usually only is positive if the first line is there, and their is a second line as well, even if it is really faint it could mean that you are pregant, but just really early into it. If there was no first line it usually means the test didn't work properly.

It depends on how early (before missing your period) that you took the test. If you took before missing your period you could still be pregnant and the hormones just are not being detected, but if you took it after you missed your period, more than likely you are not pregnant.

maybe it picked up a faint amount of the HCG hormone, plus you need to look for the experation date on the test.

Not happened to me, but if it had, I would go out and buy a third test to see what that tells me :)
