Is it any good and what, briefly, is it about?

Yes, I've both heard of it and read it. Actually, it would be pretty hard to do the second without the first.

It centers on how positive affirmations can heal you and change your life. It's also a very good read.

I would definately reccomend it, as it also includes a huge list of affirmations at the end, with one for almost every problem. And they do work.

I have read it but I feel that it is far too simplistic in its approach and can be very misleading for people who have not learned to distinguish the truth from hyperbole. There IS truth that sometimes people can have illnesses etc that reflect on their life and vice versa and that these things are connected but I have come across far too many people who take it all totally literally with distastrous consequences. The connections are subtle and mysterious and not mechanical and easy.

Louise Hay's own story is compelling-her recovery from cancer etc.
She can be an inspiration to others in many ways.
Try it and see.
be open minded yet cautious.....

All her books are very good. It is about how the things in our lives, particularly health problems, are created by our consciousness. It shows how to change it to create the kind of life we want.

Not me, but my sister was reading it when she had leukemia. She survived!
