I know, i just asked this question. but then i made a comment about the guys attitude & got a violation for profanity. but it was going so well, the suggestions were really working. Any more??

OK, you've got the issue all wrong. It's not that he's a lousy singer, it's that singing aloud is inappropriate. Why are you refusing to consider doing the right thing? It's not your place to tell your peers what to do or refrain from doing. That's your bosses job: to make it possible for those they supervise to do their jobs. So, go to your supervisor, and mention all the reasons that a person's singing interferes with the smoother operation of the department, and ask that they issue an official ruling that people not sing in the office.
