You know all year the Bears haven't gotten the respect they deserve and game after game people doubted them and everytime they won, it was "Yeah they won, but they're playing bad teams" and "Yeah they won, but Grossman didn't have a good game" or "Yeah they won, and Grossman is playing well, but the defense gave up a lot of yards" and "They won this game, but their luck won't hold out in the post season" and here we are going to the Super Bowl. So if we beat the Colts, you guys are just gonna say "the Bears got lucky again. If Payton Manning didn't have a bruised thumb, we would have killed you guys"?

It's Peyton and he will be fine.

And I don't know where you live but in Indianapolis we are giving the Bears much respect and not taking them lightly.

NB: I'm neither Team's fan.

I agree with you, but Payton is not like that he will play even if he had only one leg left and take it like a man if he lost.
The thing is the Bears had a great team starting this season. Good game plan and great defense. The offense was OK. Grossman is a starter, but is not the best QB out there.
I think the Colts will win simply because of their explosive offense. They do alright on defense, especially the last 3 games they really stepped up. But Payton is a gun slinger, he will trully disect the Bears defence.
If the Colts lose it will definily not be his fault but because the Bears defence really had a perfect game. He can get intercepted easily when you have the right secondary. Rush him don't give him time but make sure Wayne and Harrison are covered or the game is over.
His thumb is a non factor, not at this stage of the competition.
Either way the Bears will find something to say about the Colts reaction just like you stated. So i think it's futile to make excuses or try to put words in others mouths.
Play and the best wins, injuries and all included. It's football afterall, not choreographed swimming.

Actually no, it wouldn't be an excuse. The Colts have a capable backup in Jim Sorgi who would be able to help get things done when asked. There's no "shoulda, woulda, coulda" in the vocabulary of such classy organizations as the Bears and Colts. Their leadership is indicative of their toughness and togetherness, and won't let something like an injured thumb bother them. Peyton couldn't win the thing all alone if he were 100%, so why blame him or lean on him simply due to his injury?

if the Bears play as a TEAM, they will win...they played excellent against N.O.
I think that if the Bears do win, so much will be emphasized about
peyton not being able to "win the big game again"
instead of giving the Bears credit for playing a good game.

should be a very good game, I predict Bears will win

If the Bears win who cares what people want to say to save face for Manning. (the NFL's golden boy) If the Bears pull the upset then the Bears get the rings and thats all that matters. It puts the doubters with nothing but excusses which they can stick up there ***.

super Bowl Pledge - I Pledge Allegiance to The Denver Broncos & I Pledge to placed on Raiders, Chiefs, and Chargers stuff for a complete season in the event that they win the super Bowl. EDIT::: I lost an outstanding final 365 days, and had to placed on a Steelers shirt and hat during the Denver Steelers interest... that replaced into no longer exciting in any respect, and holy are there alot of blackmail photos!

Considering that after he hurt his thumb, he still was able to score on that drive. The Bears won't win, Manning's thumb will be fine. I'm more concerned for Nick Harper.

Yeah that will likely be the excuse. People can't accept that the Colts aren't the best team, it will be just like Seahawk fans.

Everything you said is true EXCEPT the bruised thumb thing.
IF the Bears win, IT WON’T BE BECAUSE OF PEYTONS BRUISED THUMB, it will be because of some REALLY FANTASTIC QUIRK OF FATE OR RIP IN THE TIME CONTINUUM OR SOME OTHER WEIRD SH*T.
Peyton will contribute, but it will be the DYNAMIC DUO of Joseph Adai and Dominic Rhodes that will beat dem bears.
didn’t I toldja?
haven'tja heard?
