I think my Tv Guide gave away the answer to the Emmerdale Murder mystery!?

I dont watch it but i was doing the crossword with someone that does and the question was along the lines of 'Who killed Tom King?' the answer that fitted the box was.....

Bob Hope (a possibilty?... i don't know) did they screw up the mystery?
