Most certainly:the only thumbs down to be given are on the answers given.That whole star system is foolish.You should be able to vote for very bad questions as well.And after 15 thumbs down:automatic deletion of the question.Safes all those violationforms too.

Yup. It was a way to nix the really nasty and obnoxious questions and answers without the risk of being accused of insulting the questioner and being reported for a "violation".

They still have a thumbs down feature to the right of each answer. Is this what you mean, or was there something else you were referring to?

I miss seeing how unpopular my questions were... that was a big high. Also let me see how many abuse reports might have been filed so I would delete questions based on that.
