Normal everyday bathing should keep it clean, using douches used to be recommended, but now they don't really think it is safe, so just keep washing it.

Just use water and you can wash the exterior with a mild soap. Do not douche! Douching washes away your natiral lubricants and can cause various infdections.
The vagina is actually "self-cleaning" so you don't need to clean the inside.
Do you have an odor that you are trying to get rid of? Although all women are different and have natural scents if you do have a strong odor you might have an infection and should go get it checked out.

The vagina is a self-cleaning organ. Do not douche your vagina. Douching messes with the flora, fauna, and mucus of your vagina. If the flora/fauna balance gets too messed up, you'll have a yeast infection or a bacterial infection.
To clear semen from the vagina after intercourse, there is an exercise that helps move the fluid to the bottom of the vagina so you can wipe it away. I can't really teach it to you here. I learned it in an NFP (Natural Family Planning) class.
I believe it is OK to remove excess mucus by wiping the first inch of your vagina with clean toilet paper.
Is there something you think needs to be cleaned? An abnormal smell or discharge from your vagina, it is a sign of infection or other medical problem. See a gynecologist about it.

WHAT EVER YOU DO...DO NOT USE SOAP OR ANYTHING WITH PERFUME. Just plain water will do. Using soap and water or hygenic wipes can cause serious infections in that area. Keep it as simple as possible. really the inside does not have to cleaned....as long as you keep the outside clean and give it a good cleaning (WATER ONLY) in the shower you should be fine.

The vagina has a PH balance that needs to be maintained or things such as a yeast infection up to a PID (pelvic inflammatory disease) can occur. PID's CAN cause death and infertility.
An OCCASIONAL mild vinegar douche can provide the results you want with the least problems. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS.
If you are still having the problem then talk with your mom about seeing a GYN. You may have an infection.

Your vaginal area doesn't need any special cleaning. If you feel that the area is itchy or smelly then you should see a gynecologist (doctor for women's health) who can advise you as to if you have an infection or other health problem that needs medication/treatment. Make an appointment ASAP.

it's like soap. it's kind of self cleaning. it's not meant to be cleaned inside, it can dry you out, and cause irritation, and possibly infection. it would be like sticking your finger up your butt hole to clean it, you're just not suppose to do that. you won't stink or anything by not cleaning inside......it's your insides.
if you really want to clean yourself there, you can get a douche which is like a spray that cleans there, but this can cause yeast infections. it's best just to clean the area you can reach without sticking anything up there.

You can always buy that female wash, Summers Eve I believe is the name brand, Thats what I use and it works fine. ALso, try a light scented douche. It won't hurt you as long as your not using it every other day. You should ony do so once every week or two. Hope this helps.

You take daily baths(showers) and allow your natural secretions to wash out anything foreign that may have entered it. If you use spermicides or other intravaginal birth controls you may have more of a discharge due to your natural secretions working overtime to cleanse.

It cleans itself, that what your secretions do. you have a regular balance of bacteria and pH in your vagina that should keep thing in check and douching can disrupt this and make problems worse or give you problems.
