Hitler had an evil streak in him and was responsible for the deaths of millions of innocent people.

What most modern history glosses over however, is that Japanese Imperialism during WWII caused about the same amount of deaths (some say more; some say fewer), and that one of the staunchest Allies...Joseph Stalin, was responsible for more deaths than either.

I think you'd be very surprised at how relatively unsophisticated and frankly uninspiring and stupid, most of the Nazi hierarchy really were. WWII and the Holocaust was a huge production put on by average and not very thoughtful monsters.

(A little bit of trivia...Hitler had only one testicle.)

I have this to say about Adolf Hitler. Corporals do not make good Supreme Commanders. In the Great War, Hitler only rose to the rank of Corporal, so after 20+ years with no further military experience, how did he surpass the professionals - the Prussian Generals - to become the Supreme Commander of the German Wehrmacht?

I am under the belief that the ideas of Hitler still exist, and that only the faces and the names have changed. One of the Hitler's of our time, was Saddam Hussein. Fortunately he no longer can exercise his cruelty upon others either.
Thinking Hitler is of the past is turning a blind eye.

There isn't one more figure from history who interests me more, Hitler will go down in history as the world's most evil man, not that i believe this. Hitler had great vision, the only leader in the world who had the courage to live his life for what he believed.

he was a short man who served in world war one. he had one brother who looked very much like him . the brother served in world war two but he was not even an officer. hitler was someone who sought power by anymeans and used this desire to form a small group of like minded friends . they then used hate to motivate a mass of people a private army . hitler then ran in a legal election but lost. he then used some back door illegal means of gaining power. and proceeded to kill off his apponitents
he then go the king of germany to give up the throne and he made himself the great leader of germany . then using more hate to motivate he added greed and formed a large real national army . he then sent his armies out to take over europe and in time the world. his own pride along with his addiction to drugs and mental illness caused by sexaualy transmitted illness caused him to over extend his armies reach and attack both russia and great britain . the people of canada formed the third largest navy quickly and helped britain . many other allies joined in the fight agaist germany and despite his having japan as his helper because japan was at war with china they two were over extended and he then found his armies failing. only a matter of time until his country was defeated existed once he attacked russia.
he did not listen to his generals or other officers often later on killing them for advicing him to change his plans.
his use of hate was for the most part directed at the jews and gypies. his use of pride was directed at the mentally handicaped and the lust filled german men who thought they were better then all others and were then allowed to have sex with many young women in order to bear a pure race.
his use of greed was used by telling the germans they need breathing room . aka more land and more money taken from conquests .
in the end he married a woman called eve braum . this took place in a bomb shelter . the people in the shelter then took poision and killed themselfs .
they all now await the day of judgement after which they will be in hell for eternity.

I would have to say he is a jerk for killing all those Jews, because they weren't like him! I am half Jewish! My great grandpa fought in the war against Germany! It was really interesting he took pictures on the camps from the helicopter he was in, and we still have the pictures! It kind of gives me goose bumps looking at that picture knowing that tens of thousands of innocent people died because Hilter! The family after the war with Hilter packed up and moved to the US!

Despite the fact that he was completely delusional and caused one of the most infamously known mass genocides in history, sometimes I understand how he felt. He just wanted a nice gene pool [I'm not encouraging anti-semitism; don't infer it that way.] for Germany, and most of Europe. Sometimes I feel like we should just kill a certain group of people and start over.

He was one of the greatest speakers of the 20th century. He convinced millions of Germans to go along with his policies and his ethnic cleansings. I do not advocate anything that Hitler did, but in terms of motivation and leadership he was probably one of the greatest politicians of all-time.
