Try this site & contact info.. good luck...
Birmingham.. Christine Bailiss.. t : 01455 821 775

Over the years, the South of England have been fortunate in having several rescue groups operating in the area, but in 1996 the majority amalgamated together to form Labrador Rescue South East. We obtained Charity status and drew up guidelines drawn from our experiences, by which we would abide.
Since then we have grown enormously. We now have 7 Trustees and a management team of coordinators covering 7 areas, encompassing Birmingham, Leicestershire across to Lincolnshire as well as all the south eastern counties of England. As we covered such a large area it was decided to add Central to our name and so from early 2001, we became Labrador Rescue South East & Central (LRSEC).
In addition to the 7 area coordinators, we have nearly 100 helpers who selflessly give their time, very often at a moments notice, to visit prospective homes and dogs which require rehoming. Although it can be distressing, it is so satisfying to see a dog happily settled in a new home.

Hi, the Kennel Club site has lots of information on where to get a puppy & has an on-line Puppy Register, which I think is searchable by both breed & location:
http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/item/436
Another place to try is the Champdogs site. I think that this site is mostly used by breeders who also show their dogs. The list of breeders shows which area they are in & the puppy list can be sorted by regions:
http://www.champdogs.co.uk/guided/all_labrador-retriever.html
There is also the ePupz site - easily sortable by both breed & location - but you will need to register with the site to get the contact details. Contact details for ads older than five days are available free of charge - contact details for the most up-to-date ads will cost you £4.99 (search under both labrador & labrador retriever):
In West Midlands:
http://www.epupz.co.uk/search/puppies_for_sale.asp?breed=Labrador&area=West+Midlands&st=1&Submit=Search+++
UK wide:
http://www.epupz.co.uk/search/puppies_for_sale.asp?breed=Labrador+Retriever&area=all&st=1&Submit=Search+++
I did spot an advert for chocolate lab puppies on the Preloved website:
http://www.preloved.co.uk/fuseaction-adverts.showadvert/index-1031118822/938c49fa.html
As the ad is only 3 days old, you'll have to pay for the contact details - however, if you wait another couple of days then you should be able to contact the advertiser free of charge.
And, if you're looking to rescue - then this webpage has details of loads of labrador clubs & labrador rescue (including websites, names & phone numbers):
http://www.dogpages.org.uk/breedr.htm
And this page has details of rescue centres in or around Birmingham - including the Birmingham Dogs Home:
http://www.dogpages.org.uk/central.htm
Hope these links help

Anwen & Solo are spectacular. do no longer bypass to a puppy farmer in Wales, for crying out loud. A KC registered breeder could have had all of the correct well being exams earlier utilising a dogs for breeding. and can i factor out that respected breeders do no longer inbreed. Are you mistaking this for LINE BREEDING? particularly yet another matter, and probable too complicated to comprehend in case you think of a farm bred dogs is the spectacular selection.
