you know it is funny that you mention this. My dad has the cube sitting out on his coffee table with the printed off instructions on how to solve it. I have tried, my husband has tried, my dad has tried, and none of us seem to have success. So my husband just last night, took all the blocks apart, and "fixed" it, so I guess the answer is no, i have not solved it.

I received a Rubiks Cube as a child in the middle 1980s. I was
able to eventually solve it once. After that initial success, the
puzzle lost its appeal to me.
Changing the stickers around is one way to solve it, however
I don't think that designer had that in mind when the puzzle
was first created.

Funny you should ask that. Everytime I see that commerical with the Rubik's Cube on it I think about that. And No I never could solve it.

LMAO!
I could never solve those. My brain just doesn't see things in 3-dimensional and so I can't grasp the algorithms needed to figure it out.

Nope, two sides was my best effort. I understand that there's a formula to it (that I never figured out) that can be accessed on the internet. It's kinda like Algebra I guess... If you don't understand how it works, you may not be able to figure out how to do it.
