Bits of leftover soap are never convenient to use. What practical use can be made with them instead of discarding them outright?

My grandmother used to save up a lot of the soap bar "leftovers" and and use them to make bubble bath for the grandkids. She'd take an old nylon and tie the bits into a bundle, then either slip the nylon onto the faucet and the bubbles would be made as the water rushed thru the nylon as the tub filled, or she'd lay it in the tub beneath the faucet with close to the same effect. I have also heard of using nylon type netting to "bag" old soap bar bits for outdoor hand washing....the nylon scrubs hands as the soap makes the suds.

You can save them in a baggie when u get enough you can
make them meld together, if you add a little water(1tbs or so) tighten the baggies and place a book on top/ works most of the time
donate them to a church or scout group to cut up and put in homade soaps
