Yes! I remember the first time I felt injured clearly! I was 7 years old and doing my classwork, one day, when I was suddenly hauled to the principal. The teacher said to the principal that I ate my classmate's lunch and would not confess to it. I was left in the principal's office, and told to face the wall in the corner. I wasn't believed when I objected.
The next day, red faced, the teacher read the note back from the mother (she wrote a letter to the girl's mother that a class mate ate her lunch) saying that the mother forgot to include the lunch in the bag in the first place.
Apologies made.... but not to me.

Of course. One time I was accused of shoplifting from Hot Topic. I hadn't been, and all that happened was they lost a loyal customer over it because I was accused in front of a bunch of other customers.
It would have been better if I had been pulled aside, and spoken to privately. Then I wouldn't have had a problem with it. But I was so embarrassed to be accused like that that I STILL refuse to shop at Hot Topic, and that was almost ten years ago.

I have plenty of times but I can't really do anything. After all, the people who accused me were people who are elder than me. As far as I know, it's rude to talk back at them and tell them that you're not in the wrong. All they will say is that you're still in the wrong no matter what.
As long as you know you're right, you don't have to fight back because there's nothing to say. If you fight back, then it'll be like a proof that you're really in the wrong. So, as for me, I let them say what they want to say and later on forget about the whole thing.
The more you say, the more problems will come up. Unless you have a concrete proff that you're right, then go ahead.

Sure, I have. I once bought a movie from A&B Sound, got home, opened it up so I could watch the DVD, and discovered to my horror an AOL CD. I returned it to the store, and they said that I must have put the CD in the case. I most certainly did not do that. All I wanted to do was watch the movie. They did finally replace it after about 5 minutes of discussion.

Yes, I had two aunts that I visited often and who seemed to like me . They accused me of lying and no matter how I protested they did not believe me. I was devastated, it hit me at my most sensitive point. My integrity and pride even at age 12 . I never went back to see them . Today I can look back and say I regret that part of it . Must have really mattered to me otherwise I would no longer remember it . LOL
