No, this era is really no different than previous eras. Yes, we are able to obtain information faster, but this information does not directly translate to money. It must be used. If you are referring to the stock market, that has been around for many years. Yes, it is easier to trade on it now, which has allowed more people to get into it, but it really has not changed much from past eras. It is still a venue to invest money into businesses that comprise the economy. If everyone simply sat around investing in these businesses but no one ran them, we would be in pretty bad shape.

I'm not sure about you, but I have to work pretty hard for my money. Do you mean that more of us sit at desks, rather than working in the fields? That just means that we have more technology today than we had in the past. But, we still need to work that technology, and develop more technology to improve our lives.

Yes in the aspect of being able to go to your local goverment agency and being able to totally take advantage of the system now it is different for people that need it.
