However, economists do point to several factors -- lack of good laws, especially those governing the decisions of politicans and government workers, lack of property laws, poverty traps, etc.

What is developed???? Here you go(developed man - so you think)!! thinking the white mans way is the way! You mean why isn't there concrete everywhere and why isn't there no chaos and disorder! There's plenty of what they need there - alright
and your point?? you know the Westerners are underdeveloped my friend my Nigerian are the best and if you don't believe it put a Nigerian in a room with any white boy and that black African will out think him on any subject and has far more spirituality!

you better know the developed are lazy and ignorant ones whom shall perish soon from being "materialistic" and ignorant to the good the basic the spirit of nature love brother& respect

well nigeria is not doing as well as south africa but nigeria is slowly coming around. The cities in Nigeria like abuja, kano, port harcourt and lagos are developed. they live life in those cities like we do in america. Nigeria is on its way to being a developed nation
