I had my son 6 weeks ago and I stopped bleeding at about 3-4 went to doc's at 4 weeks for post birth apt, and I had infection, i took the medication and no pain now. But I find I have a lot of clear discharge (sometimes it pours out when I stand after sitting for awhile.)and sometimes along with pink blood, expecially after intercourse, is this normal? I am almost positive I had a period a few days after I left doc, but i only bled for maybe two days and it was a tiny bit of blood. What is going on?

Could still be an infection! You need to go back to make sure! It takes time to heal in there, but I'd be rechecked! I had to use meatrodiazonole gel to get me straight after my first birth!!!!!! You probably are ok, but be safe and check it out! Some times it takes two treatmants for an infection after birth!!!!! Ask for the meat. gel! Works like a charm!!!! Good luck!

Doesn't sound normal. Because the discharge is clear, I wouldn't think that this was infection any more - could be urine release because your muscles will still be recovering from the birth. Pink blood after sex could be your cervix being irritated. At any rate, go back to doc and discuss.
