What type of system do u have? Well it may be that ur going to have to format the system but, before it would come to this stage, if you dont have your windows CD, call the manufacturer of the notebook and request that they send you ur operating system disk to see if you can recover the system by using the repair option when you boot from the disk.
This sometimes resolves those blue screen errors as it searches for missing or corrupt files and then it will reinstall only those files.

Another way is (if you have a Dell system) is to perform a PC restore which is held in the hidden partition in the hard drive adn can be accessed by pressing the ctrl key and tapping the F11 key as soon as you press the power button to power the system on. the system does not need the ability to boot into windows to access this feature although THIS WILL TAKE UR SYSTEM BACK TO FACTORY SETTINGS AND ANY DOCUMENTS, FILES SOFTWARE, BASICALLY ANYTHING THAT YOU HAVE ADDED TO THE SYSTEM SINCE GETTING IT WILL BE LOST!!!

Its something that you can try anyways. If this fails, it may have to be a clean format and reinstall.

Very rarely tho, this error can be due to hardware so if this fails also, u would be looking at replacing the hard drive.

Hope this helps!

"Unmountable boot volume" sounds like either the harddrive is damaged (bad news), or Windows was in the middle of modifying the boot information when the power cut off, and now the boot file is corrupt. If it is the latter, you should be able to fix it by doing a system restore after booting from your Windows CD.

I also found some info about manually restoring your "boot.ini" boot file. See the link and good luck!

Avast is an truly stable anti-virus. there is not any reason that an outbreak could be waiting to disable as Avast has an in-outfitted secure practices facility. attempt booting into secure mode by skill of pressing f8 earlier the homestead windows starts loading and run an entire test. Booting into secure mode disables maximum viruses and trojans and facilitates antivirus application to discover them.

My friend had that same problem you had. He put his computer on safe mode, but your saying, it doesnt even let you do that. Strange. Well i would recommend you to call Dell/HP/Compaq which ever kind of brand of computer u got to see whats possible. That also happened to me and i called and they send me a CD to resolve the problem

your power supply is shot, or your windows is corrupt.

Fix:

*reformat
*get new power-supply

& hope your hard drive is not fried
