Oh dear,
If that's your only issue with a samsung phone you're very lucky.
You have a couple months of frustration to look forward to.
Then you'll give up and get something decent from Nokia or Ericsson. You'll save yourself a lot of time and energy if you just put it in the bin now.

I have had the U600 for some weeks, and that i hate it more desirable on a each day foundation. Others will inform you about issues of the contact tender keys. you'll get used to push-keys, and phone-keys, yet no longer a blend of both. T9 texting is terrible. each and every from time to time you should scroll up, each and every from time to time down. you could't suitable a mistake, you should delete the note and commence again. Even after transferring to an selection, in case you do not press the go with button it will be omitted. Delete the note, commence again. Punctuation would not artwork in T9 - words like have not must be entered in wide-spread mode. the position there is not any apostrophe - ought to bypass into image mode for that. Even shift calls for 2 presses, one press takes you to numeric mode. Sliding the handset down or urgent the incorrect key will the delete the present textual content, no questions requested. (yet once you attempt to deliberately delete some thing, you should bypass by ability of a lengthy sequence of menus and confirmation activates.) The U600 would not comprehend delivery comments - they arrive in as textual content messages, without prestige on the despatched messages. My previous telephone became a K750i. much better. i am going to work out if i am going to change to a K810i.

To switch to silent mode, go to the main screen hold the # key down for a few seconds. The phone will vibrated and then a message saying 'silent mode activated' will pop up. If you don't want to turn the silent mode on completely, use the up and down buttons on the side of the phone to alter the keypad volume. You can turn it right down using this method!
