There are some people out there who are narrow-minded. I lived in a mobile home for about 5 years until we could save enough money for a home. There is nothing wrong with living in a mobile home.
At least when you live a mobile home you are probably not living with your parents and those are the people who call other people trailer trash because they probably still live with their parents rent free and no responsibilities.
Plus they probably watch a little too much Springer !!! lol

I personally don't have a problem with it; but I've never lived in one. My daughter and her husband lived in one for two years and saved enough money to make a 20% down payment on a new home, however, and a very nice trailer it was! Though the home is nicer. I think it's just a joke, don't take it so seriously.

I like my mobile home. Rent is the cheapest in the state. Don't have to pay for water, sewer or garbage. Just the power bill. I own so they cant evict me. Some time I will pay my rent like 3 months late and they don't care.

I understand the jokes, it is a stereo type thing. It is not the worst way to live, I own my mobile and the land it sits on so all I put out a month is utilities and food. No $15.000 a month payments for me.

There is nothing wrong with living in a trailer. I live in a double wide and it's home sweet home! No shame in that.

People have always seen on movies and what not that living in a trailer means your poor. I personally dont judge people that live in trailers, like wtf is the big deal. If they keep their house clean and they respect their property who cares what they live in.
