But im not sure any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well if you have two dice, then you can have six combinations to make a 7, either a 1/6, 2/5, 3/4, 6/1, 5/2 or 4/3. So a 6 in 36 chance, or 1 in 6 (17%).

So yeah, you were right.

There are 36 possible total combinations on any roll of two dice. To make a seven you can roll a 6 and a 1, a 1 and a 6, a 5 and a 2, a 2 and a 5, a 4 and a 3, or a 3 and a 4. That's six in 36, or 1 in 6, or 16 2/3rds %.

My advice, stay off the crap tables.

I'm not sure but don't you have to go with 6 twice because there are 2 dice? 1/12? I may be wrong. Just think about it.
