I was wondering if anyone has taken the HPT test, had a negative, took the test apart and found 2 lines? I know when you take the test apart you will have the control line and often a purple-blue line, but have you ever seen 2 pink lines?(or blue depending on which test you use).
I am not looking for rude comments, just want to know from those of us who have wondered about it.

Haha....that sounds like something I would do. I would think it was positive too, if I took it aprt and found 2 lines, but you need to test again to know for sure....

Apparently, taking the test apart and exposing the strip to air and humidity, affecting how the test dries and how the dye shows up. I've posted a link below to a FAQ from "Pee On A Stick" that might help answer your question more clearly.
