My last email got removed for some reason!!

I slept with a guy on the Thursday night without using protection after starting a fresh pack of pills on the Wednesday night. I took the one on Thursday night 5 hours earlier than the one on the Wednesday night, and then took my Friday one 5 hours later. Im on microgynon 30 and take 3 packs of 21 pills in a row as the doctor prescribed this due to painful periods. I have been taking the pill for 15 months now and it has worked fine. I started to bleed a little a week before I was just to finish taking my pills and have had the odd bit of spotting on and off for the last few days. I have now finished the pack of pills and my period is due to properly start today. Could there be a possibility im pregnant? I havent really had any other symptoms. Im having cramping but thats it, and im eating lots and lots of biscuits but that maybe due to time of the month

you had intercourse, whether with or without the pill you could be pregnant...
the spotting that you said though? sounds like what happens if you mess up taking it late?
take a test if you are stressed too much about it, cause remember, stressing over not getting your period? can prevent you from getting your period... funny or odd as that is...

With Microgynon 30 you have a 12 hour "window" - as long as you're taking it within 12 hours of the time you took it the previous day then it wouldn't reduce the effectiveness.

I'm unsure whether you're saying you took the Friday one 5 hours later than the Thursday or 5 hours later than the Wednesday (so 10 hours later than the Thursday?), but in either case you'd be within the 12 hours and the contraceptive ability of your pills wouldn't be affected.

If it turns out that your period *doesn't* arrive then definitely take a test or visit your GP, but i'd imagine you're probably worrying about nothing.

Hope this has helped a little! :o)

Even being on the pill and taking it every single day, at the same exact time and never missing a dose.....you can still become pregnant. With my first child I did just this.....I started taking the pill when my now ex-husband started talking about wanting kids in about a year. I never missed any and was very punctual with them. Needless to say, I still ended up pregnant.....not with just one child, but with twins. I was almost 4 months along when I found out I was pregnant.....never one minute of morning sickness at all. I would wait a couple of days, see if you start your period and then if you don't buy a home test....or you can go to a planned parenthood in your area.

I think that you are safe from being pregnant. Your taking pills and follows doctor's prescriptions for your safety measures although we know that it's not a hundred % safe but the fact is only alittle margine of error in taking those meds. Another thing is that, don't worry about the difference of hours in taking the pills, it doesn't matter, as long as you are taking it right in a day2day basis. For me if you have the courage, go to the doctor and seek for medical advise if you are really worried about it. Wish you good luck!!!

It is possible don't listen to anyone saying that if you don't experience morning sickness that your not pregnant because my sister didn't have any morning sickness and her pregnancy test kept coming up negative. So the whole pregnancy thing is difficult it's all different for women no one's pregnancy is the same. So wait a while see if your period comes and go from there your not alone I'm also wondering???????

If you're due on today, just wait. If you are normally regular you will find out very soon. Then go to the doctors if your period doesn't come.

Your period might have even come by the time I finish typing this!

i would give a few days and then take a test and even then leave it a week or so and if you still aren't sure take another one. Its the only way you will know. Good Luck

Yes, could be pregnant even if you used a condom and the pill, nothing is 100%

I'd be more worried about an STI
