How many of you think that George Washington and the rest of the founding fathers would be proud of today's politicians, including the President, and all of Congress?

He would be sadly disappointed at all the partisanship that goes on today, but I think he'd be proud too that the tiny little nation he help start has become so powerful and prosperous

They would be proud to have a president that is guided by a deep religious belief and conscience. They would be proud of the way he is defending America agaisnt terror and outside influences. They would be proud of the way that the president is protecting the Constitution and states rights. He would be appalled at what everyone above me has said and what the liberal dems are tying to do in America.

i dont think any of our founding fathers would be happy to see whats going on today. the government is such a mess. theres to much scandal and to many lies within the government. also our founding fathers would be so dissappointed to know that we are no longer a nation under god because the government does not allow people to mention god or display the 10 commandments and etc.

They would be appalled. They would be disgusted at how the constitutional processes have been mitigated and disregarded, considering the lack of basic checks and balances. I also believe they would be surprised at how much extra-constitutional authority the president has been delegated by Congress over the past fifty years.

He'd draw his sword and start removing people from office, permanently.
Read the constitution as originally written.
What we have today is what he fought to get rid of and be free from.
BIG GOVERNMENT with it's hand in your piggy bank and it's nose in your business.
