Are you homeless or hungry?
The homeless issue in the US is extremely complex, because it tends to be related to mental health, alcohol, and drug abuse.
In other countries, hunger is simple. No food. We can easily fix that.

There are no hungry in America. With Americans getting fatter by the day I have to disagree with you. Our people on welfare have it better than most countries. The homeless situation has to be addressed on a case by case basis.

Because the government could care less about the homeless. They have a nice next egg saved up, thanks to the nice tax paying citizens. (No need to fix the social security program since there package is so much more)
What can the homeless do for congress/senate since they don't vote?
This country is too rich to have an ever-growing problem like this. Not all people who are homeless have mental problems or drug problems...

What's this WE stuff? Can name you countless organizations that feed those in need. Did you go with-out a meal yesterday?How many do you know that went hungry yesterday? If you know of any and did nothing to solve the problem ie:feed them, makes you part of the problem. Don't put ME in your WE crowd. You don't know ME and I've got a good suspicion that's a darned good thing.

Because to be homeless and hungry in the USA, you have to work REAL hard to do that. Plus, politicians are full of crap.

We have programs for that. We have charity organizations for that. If you are going hungry in America it is your fault!

maybe it's because were too busy sending billions of dollars over seas to places like bagdad bush is too busy trying to make mega bucks for his retirement than to really try to help some of his fellow americans i hope i can meet him one day i'd happily spend some time in jail so i could spit in his sleezy lying face..... just a dream of mine i wish to make into a reality one day ....
