That guy that was just on American Idol the other night, who's name was Sundance. Poor thing. But he made it throught to Hollywood!
Also, I agree about how Gwenyth named her daughter Apple, it's ridiculous! I also don't like Rumer (Demi's daughter).

Xanthippe - apparently it means stupid b***h, or something like that.
I can't believe parents actually call their kids that.
I am all for unusual names, I have a very common name, and has always shared name with at least three other classmates. Very annoying.
But there ought to be a limit as to how unusual it should be - the kid has to live with it, after all.

Gweneth Paltrow named her daughter Apple. I mean, is she a Washington, Golden Delicious or a Granny Smith? What a name. I've heard some other pretty off the wall names that other celebs have named their kids but, that one sticks out.

I hate names that are really strange that parents name there kids because they smoke to my crack or take too much LSD and think nameing there child some abstract art babble like is cute (without remembering that the child is now doomed in school and will fail to develop socially as the other children ridicule them for a horrific name)
and I also am irritated by paresnt passing on names,.. like so and so the 3rd etc,. .you should have your own name not have to inherit one...
