I am an American and I like staying in Lebanon because it is like my second home. Beirut City is one of my favourate place to stay in.

I am, I was born and grew up in Lebanon.
I have been away for 20 years, and despite the fact that I lead a good life in a beautiful country and that I'm lucky enough to visit lebanon often through work, I would go back to live there in a tick.
there is something inexplicable that attaches you to your mother land and nothing ever replaces it.
The only think stopping me is my children, it wouldn't be fair to uproot them from a stable life to a country in constant conflict and lack of opportunities.

Its wonderful,its full of life and spiritual!
One of the best outstanding phenomenal Country to live in!

they kill eachother and blame others for their problems and they call themselves full of life and love lol, been to lebanon it didn;t take my breath away like all those on here claim...its filled with run down old buildings......life? well u can find the nice night life in many cosmo cities go to any european mediterr city like marbella, southern france, greece.....and to the person that said people are REAL? u get real
i've never seen most girls look alike in one place! when u go there u see 3 or 4 looks of girls, i guess they all go to the same plastic surgeon, hell even the guys fix themseleves up and are extremely stuck up
i agree with another response...if life in lebanon is all as cracked up to be, how come there r 15 million lebanese living abroad?
my predicition that Lebanon will eventually go up in smokes, why? because they claim they love life and enjoy being savages at the same time

I 'm not living in Lebanon, but i am lebanese origin, and at the contrary from Milo, I'm very proud from my origin.
I should love to live there, in spite of I'm living in a calm and beautiful country just now.
This country gave everything to my family, I love it so much, because it is my country, but i always felt myself as divided between my 2 beloved countries. Each time I go to lebanon, it is more difficult to leave it. I love everything in Lebanon. The landscapes.....the pple.........the education of that pple...the way of living..the friendship..........
Yes, I have been thinking to live in Lebanon last year. Even, i have got a good job there, but war stopped me, and i'm waiting now to see what will happen. I still have the hope to do it.
Why should i like to live in Lebanon??
It's very simple. Because I feel lebanese in spite of i didnt born there

I was born south of Beirut in a beautiful city by the beach it is called Zahleh, they produce Ouzo, actually it is one of the best ARAK.
Ouzo is creek, Arak is Arabic, I would move back home in a second if it was safe, cuz everything about it is better from High Fashion it comes to us from France before it gets here, the food I would say there are no composes, people they are kind genres and real, night club are more classy, if ever walk to store look at a bottle of Arak its Haddad Arak that is my family name, also one major reason my whole entire family live there.

Ok it is a matter of opinion after all.. every place in the world has imperfections. As for the night life? I think we all agree not everyone enjoys the same kind of night out right? There are many reasons why people live away from their homes, work opportunities arent all in one place. I am sure everyone will agree if there weren't problems with earning potential and wars breaking out then there would be more people returning to live in their homeland. Just because politicians get it wrong, it does not make us bad people.
There is expressing your opinion and there is just being damn rude. Shame on your manners.
As for comparing beirut to Marbella and south of france, everyone will agree thats just plain ridiculous. Obviously you went to the wrong places in beirut. And just because the girls are so stunning and not as EASY as girls everywhere else in the world it does not make them stuck up.
My god how angry it makes me when such ignorance exists!

It is nice for u people to be patriotic and to be loyal to ur country regardless, i respect that. But let's be real and honest here, what is there to like in lebanon???????? Why is it that the majority of lebanese are living abroad or wnat to live abroad? They must have a country that they don't like, right?
Funny some of u say lebanon is full of life, what life is that?? War? Hatered? Un-organized? Lawless? I can go on forever >>> LOL :-))
