Dr. Phines was pretty scary as I was very little when I saw it. However I dont know what the movie name was but there was one where a scientist was mutated in a lab accident was turned into an invisible killing creature. For some reason the haunting music and the scenes scared the crap out of me as a young kid.
The first time I saw Friday the 13th it put me at the bottom of my seat. That was the first time I had seen gore.

Technically, the Wizard of Oz was the first movie to really scare me. I was three and the witch was just a little much.
I cruised for a while after that - until I watched Silence of the Lambs. It is a fantastic movie, but I had nightmares for a month! I'm 26 now and I still can't watch it by myself. LOL.

The Exorcist. When it first came out.. This film was outlawed in my area and my mother and friends had to drive three counties away just to watch it at the drive in. This movie has scared the crap out of several generations...you should try out the book as well....but DONT get roped into the sequels..they don't come near the original.
2nd: Psycho. 3rd. Night of the Living Dead...4) Halloween..........

Something wicked this way comes. There are so many parts of that, that scared me. Like when the women goes on the carousal and turns old then into a baby, the whole feeling of the movie is creepy. I haven't seen it in years I might have to rent it again.

Salem's Lot... I can't remember any of it now. But I remember it made me so scared I cried all night.
When I was a teen I watched Pet Cemetary every weekend at the local midnight movies all summer. I tried watching it a few years ago after actually going to a native american medicine wheel and it freaked me out.

Just to show how old I am! "Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte" it is an old Betty Davis movie. I was pretty young when I saw it, but it scared the bejeebers out of me! Other than that, I would have to say the "Exorcist" too.
