It was called 'The Other' way back in the 70's. Scared the daylights out of me. The movie has something to do with a little boy and a 'finger' cut off a hand and put in a box, someting to that nature. But that's the one I remember. Have a nice day !!!

Can't remember theater, but the first time I went to a drive in it was Disney's Jungle Book and the Southington Drive-In (which just closed 2 or 3 years ago, very sad!)

The first movie I ever saw was my oldest brother was dating his future wife. They both took me to a drive in movie. Dont remember what it was just remember guys in ski masks doing a home invasion on a family.

However the one movie time I will never forget was my sister drove for hours from her town to take me to movie that she felt I had to see immediately. It was called Star Wars.

The first I remember was Rin Tin Tin. It was a Saturday matinee and we got in for free on a coupon from local merchants. I was six and they had a contest for who was wearing the best cowboy outfit. There wasn't an adult in the theater except for the employees and after we walked home and our parents weren't worried. It was 1951; Long Island, NY.

It was "2001: A Space Odyssey." I remember because it was a 70mm print and shown on a wide screen. I was fascinated by the special effects and the wonderful character of HAL, the computer who was more human than his human masters.
