The worst accident I ever had was, in an odd way, laughable at the time.
My friend had recently had a baby and asked me if I still had my bottle warmer from when I had my daughter, I replied that I did and that it was up in my attic so, that evening I decide to have a look, and what should happen, I fall right between the joists making a gaping hole in the ceiling, landing on my bed, I am all covered in fibre glass insulation and chucked to myself, got up as if nothing had happened, but since then I have been getting sciatica, oh, and I claimed for the big hole I had made from the house insurance, when the workman came to repair it and I told him how it had happened, he thought I was joking...lol.

I lost a finger in an accident involving a deckchair, and then went on to fracture my skull on two separate occasions. All this happened in less than two years.

As a toddler I found the hasps for a bolt on a door. The bolt was missing, but it was good fun to put my fingers where the bolt was....until someone opened the door and tore the top of my finger down to below my nail. It was hanging on by a thread of skin and it took 3 nurses to hold me down whilst the doctor stitched it back on.

Which do I choose? My "favourite", was the one where I was using a band saw to cut tiny bits of wood. I slipped and shoved my left index finger into the blade. Luckily the blade was blunt and only cut me to the bone.
When I cut it, I grabbed the finger and held it tight. I felt fine until someone said "is it cut off?". I felt suddenly sick, as I didn't know and I had to pluck up the courage to look.

I put my face through a windshield one time. I lost a chunck of flesh out of my forehead and scraped off part of my nose. In addition I broke my two front teeth in half and injured every joint on the right side of my body. Thank God for good plastic surgeons and a NON-socialized health care system!!!

I was checking the tension on my mates cars fan belt when he started the engine.
It cut the top inch off my left index finger and I had friction burns down to the bone on my middle finger.
