the flags are at half mast today like they have been since Gerald Ford passed away... the country is in mourning for our former president...it ususally lasts a month.

they are mourning the loss of the house and the senate, the flag will remain at half mast until the democrats take over the presidency.

We're morning the loss of 5 teens in our communities. Here it has nothing to do the the Late President Ford.

But it does normally signifies the passing of someone in your community or a national figure.
