If you're referring to the movies, Spider-Man II is the best, compared to Spider-Man and all five Supermans. Which really hurts me to say because I'm a Superman fan.

That is quite a substantial question you have there.
I believe that most people will go straight for Superman, simply because he is really hard, and kryptonite being the only substance that can really harm him means that Superman would win hands down.
But from a different perspective I believe Spider man is better. His overall character is more believable. His years through college, people dying around him and Spider man blaming himself for everything that goes wrong. I believe that Spider man has a greater conscience than Superman, and his character relates more to the day to day struggles that we as mere human beings go through. Furthermore he wouldn't piss off for many years like superman, leaving everybody in the **** and then expect that everyone will welcome him back with open arms. (Superman returns).
As much as I do like Superman I believe Spider man is better.

Superman has better abilties but I prefer the Spider-Man character. Superman has the most retarded story plot.
I mean, people who have both seen Clark Kent and Superman up close (EG: Lois Lane) can't see they are the same just because Superman is wearing a cheap suit, combed his hair and put on some glasses. The dumbest thing in the world!

can Fly,
Has Xray vision,
Heat ray vision,
Super strength,
Super Speed,
and a seriouus set of lungs.
Spiderman - Climbs walls and
Sprays gunk from his hands
So SUPERMAN is by far better!!!

Spiderman by a mile! I know they're both fictional, but Superman's not even from this planet (where people seem to walk around with their underpants outside their pants) & lives in a made up city! and another thing, there was once a comic book where Marvel's characters fought DC's characters, Spiderman fought Superboy (admittedly, not Superman, but same powers) and Spidey whupped his candy ***, I reckon he'd do the same with Superman too! 'nuff said!
