In pregnancy EVERY month is measured as exactly 4 weeks. (and your also pregnant for 2 weeks before you conceive your child!)
So you are considered pregnant for 10 months (medically speaking)
weeks 1-4 = 1st month
weeks 5-8 = 2nd month
weeks 9-12 = 3rd month
weeks 13-16 = 4th month
weeks 17-20 = 5th month
weeks 21-24 = 6th month
weeks 25-28 = 7th month
weeks 29-32 = 8th month
weeks 33-36 = 9th month
weeks 37-40 = 10th month
Congrats on you little bundle of joy!

If you are 12 weeks along then you would be 3 months....There are 4 weeks in a month and 12/4 = 3 months

Depending on the days in the month , if you go by 30 days you are 3 months if you subtract the days in the month you are 2 months 3 weeks and so many days .

You are not necessarily 3 months exactly. Not every month has exactly 4 weeks. Its best to track your pregnancy by weeks. www.i-am-pregnant.com lays it out really well for you.
