You only need 2 mirrors and that is any 2 mirrors for an mot, think of a van where an internal mirror is useless, I have had an mot pass without a passenger side mirror twice, It was knocked off by passing traffic several times when parked.

Depends on the age of the vehicle - have a word with your local MOT tester for guidance or have a look on the DVLA website

As long as the drivers side mirror and interior mirror are ok and give a view of the rear then you'll be ok.

in the experience that your automobile replaced into first used on or after a million/8/seventy 8 it could have 2 mirrors, one in each and every of which could be on the offside. the different could be the two the interior mirror or the nearside one. you're able to get a tumbler.

Only if there was one originlly fitted to the vehicle. Some older cars (even as late as MkIV Cortinas) don't have one fitted as standard and therefore can't be failed because of it.

Yes it does need to be there. If it was fitted as standard to your vehicle it should be in working order.

The only time you would get away with not having one is if it originally was sold by the manufacturer without it.

not if you have both the interior mirror fitted and drivers wing mirror fitted

That depends on the year of the car, the model, etc.
Simpler to say if it is originally fitted with it, then it probably needs it.
So probably yes.

That is a big NO from me, you don't need one on the passenger side.
