Here are a few ways:

Pick up the phone and CALL them.

Contact some of their other friends.

Meet them at work, school or other place and ASK.

Mail them a letter and ask.

Wait for them to email you from that new account.

Don't take this the wrong way - but i figure if the person wanted you to have it, then you would. If it's a case where you lost touch via email and you guys are really friends, then by all means you should have some other way of contacting that person to get the new address.

You ask the person for it...
Trying to fnd an email address without the owners permission is illegal by the data protection and validation acts.
Unless the owners says you can have it, using online method of obtaining the data is illegal.
