More thoughts can be conveyed by the use of speech. Also, if someone's back is turned to you, they can't see your hand gestures. Also, the tone of a voice can tell you more about what the person is feeling.

Body language like a simple hand gesture is important but is grossly inadequate to convey a wide spectrum of feelings, emotions, experiences, motivations, urges, compulsions, constraints in actions and strategies relating to life, living and pursuits.
We find ourselves in the company of massive literature, poetry, drama and then the stage and the large/small screens which are so powerful to tell and communicate and also to make us feel and frown together.
In the evolution of society, the body language was the starter and talk came later after the invention of language and letters. Old primitive tribes were using body language in their communications with each other.
The world would like to go forwards rather than regress backwards and back to square one.
And you need to have more facts beyond itekmobility!

Because you can't tell feelings, emotions or context by hand gestures. Talking on the phone would be quite difficult as well.

We need verbal communication in life ,but people have to use sign language,if they are deaf! Often they lip read as well so body language is important.Maybe you are needing peace at the moment ,but eventually you will need to communicate with others.Do you have a hearing problem?Are you feeling down?Are you worried?You could train in sign language to help the hard of hearing it would be a good career move and one you may enjoy.

ummm...dependz whether u are a gurl or guy..!!
girlz prefer to talk abt emotionz n stuff.....!! we are used to talking abt out feelingzz.....!!!
whereas for guyz they prefer showing their feeling more than making lil chit-chat...!!
(though they sure do hav some really weird way of showin it!!) lool
