How do you delete an old server that you no longer subscribe to?

I switched to cable from earthlink(dial up) and now whenever I log on, the computer still tries to dial up with earthlink. I've deleted earthlink everywhere I see it, but it still tries to dial up each time I log on. Please give specific step by step instructions because I'm not very good with computers. Thanks.

Open Internet Explorer, click on the Tools button on the top, choose Internet Options. When Internet Options dialog box opens, choose the Connections Tab. You will see Dial up and VPN settings, you should see the Earthlink dialer in the info box. Just below the info window, select the first option that says Never Dial a Connection and then select OK to close the window. This should solve your problem.

Try
Open Internet Explorer
Click on Tools in the menu
Click on Internet Options
Go to the Connection Page
You will probably see a listing for Earthlink there that you need to delete.

I'm not either, but you can go into the control panel through the start menu, select add or remove, and remove the earthlink software from the computer. If you removed the icon from the desktop, that's the ONLY part you removed, not the actual program.
