I have just had my foot strapped up and have been told to keep the strapping dry for the next week and a half. I also need a shower. How can I keep it dry and the rest of me clean and sweet!

Glad Press and seal wrap is an excellant way to keep an area dry while you shower or bathe. It seals onto your body and you do not need to use tape.

Put your foot in a plastic garbage bag, and either duck tape it above the area that's not suppose to get wet, or find a strap, or a large rubber band, but be careful not to cut-off the circulation.

I had a broken Leg and was in a cast for nearly 2 months. I understand its tough. One suggestion is that you wash yourself with a face cloth and not get into the shower. Otherwise you can get a waterproof covering that you put over stuff like that for arms and legs. You can get them in the hospital or doctors. If you really want you can put two big plastic sacks over your leg and tape the top part up with tape.

use a trash bag to cover the injured/bandaged part..taped at the top with plastic waterproof first aid tape...it has always worked for me . If its just a small place take a zip lock bag cut off the zipper and tape around the actual wound itself in the same manner

Get a hand held shower with a hose on it. You can probably also find a chair to use in the shower. Make sure the hose is long enough and you can get a wall mount to use that will allow you to keep the shower head right next to your hand for convenience.

Take a bath and hang your leg out the side, OR take a garbage bag and duct tape that around your wound

Put it in a plastic bag (bin bag if necesary), and wrap some tape around the top - not too tight!

Plastic bag and a rubberband. I just had to do this with my hand for over 2 weeks.
