term, just a medical one. Someone had asked about what could cause an infection of a certain nature. I don't understand unless someone saw it as an vulgar term or simply didn't like it. What is your view point?

Maybe it has to do with your ID name?...I don't know, anyway you have to remember that sometimes there are kids on here...yes, it is a medical term....don't worry everyone gets points off eventually for one thing or another...no point in losing sleep over it...

I think that of course it wasn't a vulgar term, but there are people out there that are looking to be offended. Anything that has to do with naughty parts is automatically a taboo in this culture. Shhh! :-(

On the other hand, it could have just been a faulty filter. Some of the filters that are used to make sure that inappropriate web sites do not get through, just look for certain words. So when you put the net nanny on so your kids can't look at *those* sites-- they also can't look at sites about women's cancers, health issues such as the ones you mentioned, etc., because they use the same words.

And even now, I've had to write this post in a round about way to make sure I didn't use any of the words that might be filtered.

I know what you mean! I got removed because I told someone "I don't know!" They said it wasn't an answer. The question on the page was misleading. So that's what I said. I was already on the answer page. And I'v seen ALOT worse on here than yours! At least it was a medical term. But all of the other people are allowed to smash God, and say such things like they do and they stay on. One guy even talked of a mean story with a cat. Better not say or you won't get this! LOL! Just hang in there I guess.

Wanger, that has happened to me soooooo many times and I have not use vulger terms or anything, I don't understand it but it ticks me off. You lose ten points and it is stupid. Then I see questions from people who say bsh should be hung or masturbation techniques and so on that are allowed, there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason, I have written them twice asking why and explained that I have read the guidelines and all I get back is a response saying read the guide lines...it is frustrating, I know, I guess it is just one of the down sides to this, I don't know if there are actual people filtering this or if it is somehow computer driven...keep writing...try puttin the meat of the question in the second space....maybe that would help...I am wondering if this response will be deleted!!!!!!

Okay, for the life of me, I'm still trying to figure out what (Va***al) is!!

OOOOOHHHHHH!!!! Okay, I think I know now. Like the opposite of a Caesarean birth?

I guess it would depend on the context of the word within the question. They might just have some sort of auto-filter or something to catch certain words - like they do with the DMV for license plates.

Well as the guidelines state. certain language is used in certain sections if it was in the woman's section and u said it it probably was OK. if you said it in another forum it isn't. I got flagged down for asking about a sleeping disorder cause i used the word s e x well that is what insomnia it was but i didn't put it in women's health. go figure. you were just trying to help don't feel too bad.

It's ridiculous. Yahoo obviously believe women don't have va**nas. If it's in the dictionary, the word should be allowed
