Try this, my uncle used to make them:
Take a hot dog or 2 or 10 (you may have a big appetite, George), throw it on the grill . Meanwhile, cook up some bacon. When the hot dog is just about done, cut it open lengthwise and throw the chees and bacon in the cut. Don't forget to toast the buns! MMMM...

You mean you never experimented it??? It's good, especially on the grill BBQ with some mayo.!I also invented the grilled cheese with miracle whip! Delicious.
