Capricorn With Aquarius:
The confidant Capricorn may prove to be too much for the nimble and elusive Aquarius. The hard-to-get approach drives Capricorn crazy, but in a strange way they love it! Aquarius could find Capricorn a little to serious at times, and Capricorn may conclude that Aquarius is a little too "free spirited". Capricorn is always looking for quality in romance and Aquarius may be lacking in that department. The relationship is best for a short-term romance and friendship will most likely be the end result. Capricorn does not like the interest that Aquarius shows to other people. Aquarius doe not like confinement or restriction at all, and may fly the coop to go out into the world to find something more suitable. These two make a very doubtful combination. There is a huge difference in values and personality here. The organized Capricorn and the never organized Aquarius will clash in this department. Too many other differences as well and unless you have other compatible aspects in your birth charts, don't expect a long lasting affair.

Capricorn and Aquarius is a hard relationship to maintain beyond friendship or coworkers, but it's not impossible. Alot will depend on what your ascendant signs are, as well as how the rest of the planets were lined up at the times of your births. Do you know the time and place of yours and the others birth? Capricorns aren't usually intrigued by metaphysical subjects in my experience.
Also, yes I have had experience with a Capricorn, Aquarius relationship and I'll relate it to you. My ex(please note ex) husband was a Capricorn Aquarius cusp, which means he was born on the border between when two planets were merging in and out of a sign, Capricorn and Aquarius respectively. This means that he displayed characteristics of both signs. Our relationship was very turbulent, sometimes we were very compatible, sometimes like strangers. Capricorns can be very grounded and stubborn about their ways; they want things done their way and are a veritable force to reckon with if they don't get their way. He was very possessive and believed things should be done a particular way, his way. However, the Aquarius side of him came out when he wanted his freedom. In essence, this meant that he got his cake and got to eat it too. For me, an Aquarius, I hate to be possessed and insist on my freedom, so we butted heads quite alot. It was not a combination I would recommend and is one of the hardest combinations in the zodiac. In saying that however, as I said in the beginning if your ascendant signs are compatible, you could very well carry on a successful relationship and be quite happy. I am an aquarius and just got out of a year and a 1/2 long relationship with a Capricorn male. Being an aqua, I am hard to "catch", but I fell head over heels in love with him and vice versa. It was love at first sight for both of us. But our relationship was like a constant rollercoaster. We were either really up or really down. And both of our drives to "never fail" is probably what kept us together so long. He was very set in his ways and liked everything done a certain way and I am like that to an extent, but I could never please him. Seemed like his way of doing things always changed and I couldn't keep up with what or how I was supposed to do something next. I saw a change in me that I didn't like. My independent, strong nature seemed to be dwindling in this relationship. For once in my life, I felt too dependent on someone and like I had lost control of my life. Kinda like my "nature" was squashed like a bug by someone more overpowering than I. My never say die attitude still wishes we could have made it work, but I just couldn't go along with his every day regiment of how things were to be done.
