I've accidentally scratched my mum's good pine dresser. does anyone know what i can do to hide it, so she doesn't notice???? I'm desperate!

For light scratch you can just spray with "Lemon Pledge" and wipe it off with clean cotton buffer.
If the scratch is deep right to the wood, you got to sand it off for about 2" wide strip to the length of the scratch with fine sander. Then apply wood stain of the same color and tone, wipe the sanded area with alcohol and apply one layer of wood varnish with aerosol spray, wait till dried and apply another. Lastly heat the area up with spot light or space heater placed about 2' away.

A crayon to match the color temporarily until you get a patch kit, or wood fibers eigther wood glue then stain it when it dries, or they sell wood patch it's almost like spakle for walls but you mix it up and spread it on wood.

if its a light scratch then you can get a wood stain and make sure you get the right color, if its a deep scractch you will need to sand it down and revarnish it, if its a gouge get some wood putty
