I know!
When we look ourselves in the mirror, we see what we want to see, and under our own "filter"...even what other people see when they look at you they see you with their 'filter'.
I think a photo will show you what you look like with no filters, but in the end, what you look like will depend on who is looking at you.
Does it make sense? :)

My opinion is the light refraction in the mirror gives you a more 3-D effect than a photo.But you will get different answer's depending on the person that answer's this.

I would say the mirror, boy, I look good in pictures, doesn't show all my flaws. Then there's the mirror. UGH!

Which is more accurate? Neither.
The mirror shows a true reflection of you.
The photo shows you how others see you.

Both the mirror and the photograph 'capture you at the moment'. I'm not very photogenic. But one of my brothers is a professional; he was able to get round my shortcomings.
