Map symbol bingo! Get some(preferably all different) old USGS topo maps, cut them in four pieces, then call out various map symbols...swamp, church, railroad, elevation over 1500 ft, depression, river, lake, etc. An exhaustive list is available from USGS http://erg.usgs.gov/isb/pubs/booklets/symbols/>
Students put markers on the map if they have that symbol, the first with 5 symbols wins.
