I prefer to be snubbed. He knows better than to come near me especially for any kind of lip service. I'd hurt the little s.o.b.

In a lot of cases if the boss is ignoring you you are doing your job. If you are not then you get the lip. This is very stupid by the boss but there are a lot of jerks in the work place.
